My pastels progress
Hey everyone, just starting out with two pastels as a basic breeding project as I'm new to breeding.
I'm going to document size and progress and hopefully baby's in a few years.
Both snakes bought from lost world reptiles in teynham, kent, UK.
I h
Darwin is a male I'm told is CB 15, we bought him on July 27th at 525g and 32", since then he has grown to 850g and 36", I wouldn't think someone as reputable wouldnt get the sex wrong but he has got me wondering with growth like that!!!
He strike feeds small rats.
The female we bought Saturday, she is alot smaller, yet to weigh and measure as we fed her Sunday, she fed from the rat wiener being layed in the cage within 5 min. No strike feeding as of yet.
I will get some pics up soon.
They are my only snakes, I kept a pair of irian jaya carpets a few years back, would like a pair of jungle jaguars at some point. I also have an African bullfrog, two dogs, two ferret's and 4 aquarium Inc a 300g, regular member on Mfk!-)

Thanks, he is a sweetheart too, docile enough for our 2yr old to hold.
Still deciding on the females name, penny, Amelia and willow are options... maybe Lucille (walking dead tribute!-)
