    Weird dark spots?

    Hi everyone:

My students noticed that our classroom Beardie has dark spots appearing on his back. Is this a sign of stress? His enclosure seems good - the hot spot light is one, and the ambient temp of the room is at 80%.

His behavior seems to be his usual self... what do you think?

    Any feedback is appreciated.

    Annie

Do you mean the darker larger scales in the yellow down the back? Looks like normal coloration to me.

He looks pretty 'fired up' here you just might have not noticed the contrast before.
