I went yesterday and came home with another crested gecko. I went looking for a female Pine Island chahoua and a snake rack, but the few chewies that were there were either mainlands or males, or both. I bought another large bag of Pangea diet, and met the person who makes the diet. I was a regular on his web site for several years and still post there occasionally. He gave me a nice juvie male that should go really well with a female that I have. I love the big pins on this guy. I hadn't planned on another crestie, especially a male, but couldn't say no to this guy. You can't really tell from my crummy photography and not great lighting, but he fires up almost black and the orange and white on his sides really pop. He's in quarantine right now. Here he is in the deli cup:
Someone there was selling snake racks and thermostats, but his prices were higher than on line so I'll wait to see if there are any decent deals on Black Friday. I wasn't about to handle any snakes and risk possibly bringing home mites or something. Did you notice the one vendor with the skinny bp's?
Maybe next year we could wear t-shirts about this web site or something so we could find each other and say hello and put faces to the names of some of the people we talk to on this web site.
