    Help with identification

I was wondering if someone could help me identify this snake. I know its a colubrid but they aren't my strong suit.
    Thanks in advance

Looks like a Brown or DeKay's snake. Was the belly red? If so then it is a red bellied snake.

The belly is tan. I have not seen the animal in person, my friend's nephew caught it and they came to me with questions.
    Thank you for the input

If you can snap some better pictures for me I can help you identify it. A belly shot, plus a clear head shot would be nice if possible.
