    Scaleless Rat Snake from show

I went to a reptile show today with the mindset that if I found something unusual that I wanted as a pet (not a breeding project I have enough of those) that I would pick one up. Well I just fell in love with this tiny baby scaleless rat snake. I've always wanted one. Such a cute worm! The color on this guy is fascinating to me. I love that he has a few scales on his head, he also has all his belly scales.

    His name is Wrenfield.

He's super soft! Very active...which is a serious change from my ball pythons. Hehee. I can't wait for him to get a little bigger so I can safely handle him (he's so small I don't want to hold him too much since he's so fast).

He is adorable! I have always been interested in how the scaleless snakes feel. I thought them to feel super soft. I really like his coloration too!

Wow! This guy is SUPER easy to feed! I'm so used to my picky ball pythons. This one snaps up f/t pinky off tongs and swallowed it without even constricting.

I was interested in their other scaleless . Just didn't want to drop $500 on something I wouldn't breed.

You know I had no idea what these guys went for (since he was an impulse reptile show buy) and he was only 65$. Having looked into them online this particular type of scaleless goes for about 200$. I'm actually a little nervous about such a good deal but so far he seems super healthy and eating well.

Very nice. I've actually never felt a scaleless snake. Lol.

I'll have to go to Sean Bradley's house who owns exotic by nature and see if he has any scaleless bps.
