He said he does have a few yet but won't have anymore clutches until next year. I might have to wait! Reptile room construction might be first on the list but I'll definitely have one!

I will say some of the most stunning specimens I have seen are in Derek Roddy's collection. He specializes in black heads but has some beautiful womas too. I think he is planning on producing babies next season if you don't mind waiting. He is also a wealth of information in regards to the different localities and how they look different. Granted almost all of the US womas are muts at least you know what causes what specific look and what may be a mutation.

I have a 1400 gram male woma. Got him on Kingsnake.com and the guy that shipped him didn't use enough packing, got beat up on the FedEx truck and when I got him he was really beat up and the meanest darn snake I've ever seen, he scared the heck out of me for months. He even stopped eating for about six months while he healed. Now he is one of my sweetest snakes and practically begs to come out to play! After that experience I'll never have a snake on a FedEx truck again, I always have them hold it at the ship center so I can pick it up, so far I've had great luck with many snakes doing it that way.

Our three womas are very inquisitive as well. Unlike our bp's that retract to their hides at the sign of movement, the womas come out to investigate. They also seem stimulated by interaction rather than just tolerating it.
