Ship individually through Fedex or through a Reptile Shipping Company?
So I'm considering either getting Fedex Certified or going through a company like Shipyourreptiles, reptiles express,or ect.
Which one is more cost efficient? Which one do you guys recommend? Please help!

Unless you ship very large volumes you will not get such a great discount through FedEx however the way I see it being certified is not a bad thing either, it demonstrates that you know how to ship and sadly there are people out there that ship and could never get certified if their test package look anything like what they send to customers.

As Deborah mentions, there's nothing wrong with getting certified if you'd like to. It can't hurt. But you won't get any special deals directly through FedEx. ShipYourReptiles has the absolute best service and can make sure you get the rates you need. You can use the code SYR40 to get 40% off your first shipment and they'll set you up with some sweet custom rates and take very good care of you!

I like SYR and use them for a couple main reasons. I like that they give an insurance option. It's not a large amount of money and protects me if the package gets delayed or lost by Fedex. I'm confident in my packaging and weather tracking to always have an animal arrive safe and sound so long as it isn't lost in transit - which the insurance covers. I'm also, generally speaking, terrible at remembering to donate and like that they have a little option there for USARK. I only donate $1 with each shipment but that adds up over the course of a year and I'm glad SYR has that feature.
