No kinks in the entire clutch. These were artificially incubated at 85-88F. I incubate most of my ball python eggs lower than most because if there are any temperature spikes, I'ld rather be lower than too hot!

Great lookng snake!
does it average 85-88F in the egg boxes or in the incubator and does it mean that the thermostat is set to 86F-ish? I plan on doing a super cinnamon/8 ball/super black pastel pairing soon and Im trying to minimize the chances of kinks.

Thanks for the info! Obviously based on my sig you can see I plan on working with super black pastels so I am doing my homework. Based on the limited info I have read there seems to be a correlation between lower incubator temps and less severe or absent kinks. The opposite seems to be the case with higher incubation temps with the worst kinks appearing in clutches incubated at 88 and above.

The temperature inside the containers holding the eggs is 85-88F. Good luck with your pairings and I hope you hatch all healthy looking babies!
