    I can't read old threads

hey i'm just browsing the forum and my curiosity took me to the last page of some of sub-forums. i saw some threads that i thought might be cool and clicked to read them. however when it opens i don't see any posts.

see here, i wanted to read about whacking rodents in the BP husbandry sub-forum. but there's nothing at all in the thread when there are supposed to be 18 posts.

some other threads i wanted to read include this one about Plastic Enclosures in the General BP sub-forum and another one about a snake named Sixx who wasn't eating in BP Pictures.

these threads are like on the last page of each sub-forum. so there's a pattern. maybe it's more widespread. or maybe there's a reason the threads cannot be read. anyway just thought folks should know anyways.

i'm using Chrome on Windows 7 and Safari on ipad, cleared the cookies, cache, etc. and still doesn't work when i click on the thread directly. i dunno. :/

but it did work when i run a search and click the thread. for example, i searched for Sixx and clicked the "broken thread" and was able to see it fine:

Apparently you are onto something I did it differently this time going to the last page of the forum vs a search and we do have an issue.

I'll let our super geek know , at least those are old threads, my guess it probably happened when we last move server which was quite a while ago and we never noticed.

It affects any thread with an erroneous date of 1969/1970.

As Deborah mentioned, something probably happened with those threads at one point when we moved to a new server or updated software. Since all of the affected posts are from 2004, it is probably not going to be worth the time and effort it would take to try to fix the issue. A lot of those posts may not be relevant at this point in time anyhow. I think it's super cool that you searched more than 10 years back on the site, but maybe you can just overlook those old non-working posts as remnants of the site that we surely have newer information for now
