Introducing male to a single female???

I have an adult female who I would like to breed. Any advice for introducing her to a male without too much blood shed?

I was thinking new tub and a couple splashes of vanilla extract.

She is the last remaining member of my first attempt at a colony. The girls ended up attacking the only male and he didn't make it. So I fed off the other girls and started a new colony.

The new rats are friggin' flesh eating demons. The girl I want to breed is puppy dog tame. I was hoping to pick one of the less bitey males from colony 2 and hopefully being able to select for her temperament.

Your plan is about the only thing that may work. I have bred ASF's for 5 or 6 years on and off.
Be sure to clean everything first and new substrate to make it neutral territory.
