    Horned Lizards

Definitely my favorite genus of lizards. Hopefully I can obtain more species in the near future.

You keep them?! That is so cool! How do you feed them? Do you have to raise ants? Such amazing creatures

They're not too bad - mostly feed dubia, and spend a few minutes a day dropping them harvester ants. I get the ants from antsalive.com. The two adults go through about 1,000 ants a month.

I know some species do, but not sure if it's throughout the genus or not. I've never seen it in person.

The modestum are ridiculous - I watched one spend 10 minutes trying to crawl over a small branch, and it just wasn't happening because of that belly.
