    reptarium's

Anyone ever use one of these ? I was considering getting a pair for outdoor use during the summer so I could let my frilled's and AWDs out for a bit. I just want to make sure they arent pure crap and will hold up.

    Re: reptarium's

I used one for my chameleon. They're good, my only complaint was the SofTray thing I bought for it (plastic liner) I may have gotten a dud, but It was REALLY hard to get it on there (extremely tight fit) and then it ripped. The actual cage is great though.

I think they are total crap.. thats just my opinion though.., very brittle plastic frame ,you cant see through the screen, they are not cricket proof like they claimed when I bought the one I had .
I guess they wouldent make a bad sunning cage But IMO you can make a much better sunning cage from 1/2"x1" PVC coated wire and j clips, that will last much longer for half the cost or less

Yeah. I won't buy another one, since I found that making one is extremely simple. I didn't have a problem with crickets escaping though.

    Re: reptarium's

My friend has a few at her store, and yes, the clear SofTray thing does have a tendency to rip. And when we put them together, I thought it was really hard to assemble them.
I don't like the inability to see clearly through the screen, either. If I needed something for sunning, I would make something like RobertCoombs suggested above (or rather, I would have my boyfriend make it, since if I tried, the building materials would be tossed out the window in frustration, lol.)
