    Dante, My Argus-X

Here are a few pics of Dante, he is a Argus-X-Flavi just over 5 months old now. He eats like a pig and loves to dig he has burrows all over his tank. Caught him this morning basking uver his red bulb before his light came on so I thought I would snag some pics. I hardly ever get to see him durring the week he is a a morning to early afternoon guy he retires for the day around 1300 and will only poke back out right before his timer kicks off so he can bask before night

Very nice pictures! How easy is he to handle? He looks so prehistoric.

Not really, you just need to be ready for a 3-1/2"+ monitor and be able to get there basking spot high enough mine likes it around 145*. They also like to dig *alot* mine has burrows all over his enclosure. They handle pretty good flighty but not bitty. Mine has calmed down alot since I got him a month back.

hehe now that was a typo, yes he will grow 3 1/2' right now he is in a 55gal long and is only 16". I suspect he will outgrow the 55gal by the end of the summer and he will move to his 6'L 2'W 2'H enclosure.
