    Let me introduce....

Well you guys all know about Lunch the silly flame point that resides here at Rusty Reptiles. So I wanted to introduce everyone to "Snack" our new little baby. He is an eight week old Blue Point Siamese X coming from an already long and hard life. Him and five siblings were found in a Hartford (CT) sewer when they were approx eight to twelve hours old. Sadly two of the babies suffered from life ending birth deformities, and the remaining four took a long while to come around, warm up and feed. One of the wonderfull foster parents for the CT Humane Society took the surviving four home and fostered them. Well they just came back in at eight weeks old on Monday. The four were all a weird bunch (breed wise) all mixes but with little Snack resembling a blue point applehead siamese, his brother looked like a Blue Scottish Fold and one silver tiger, and the remaining girl was a little black kitten.
I thought I would share some pictures:

At the bottom of the pic listing you can see a photo of the Fold, and one with Snack and the other two siblings.
Snack has taken well to the house with Lunch already showing him a few of the ropes. He seems to just be infatuated with the turtle ponds, the same as Lunch.
    Enjoy!

Thanks guys, he sure is something. They both are. They having pets does make a difference in everyones life. For me it is great to come home from the Society after dealing with idiots dropping off their poor cats, and being greeted at the door by these two.
I don't think I could deal any other way
    Thanks

    Re: Let me introduce....

I know how you feel. There's been times in my life when my pets were the only living creature I felt like dealing with (thank gawd the dog I had in my teen years couldn't rat me out to my parents LOL).

We love watching our kids with the pets, especially the youngest. There's something so pure in a small child experiencing an animal for the very first time. We let our 4 year have Baby the bp on his lap yesterday for a few moments and his eyes just got huge! He kept repeating (in his words)...."she's tickling me with he's tongue!!!" (kid is as confused over this snake's sex as the rest of us I guess LOL). It was just wonderful to see him so fascinated with this new pet and have no fear at all.

Now if I could only get over my fear of big spiders I might be able to deal with my 13 year old son's request for his idea of a great pet *shudder shudder*

What a gorgeous baby! And how funny that the litter was so mixed. I guess mama cat was very sociable.
