    Cool encounter over the weekend

Driving home from my grandsons baseball game going down a back country road we go by this grass field with pond and I see this giant snapping turtle in the grass. Wanting to check him out I pulled over got out and walked over to him. Turns out it's actually a big male on top of a equally large female breeding. As he see's me coming up to them he rolls off the top of the female and literally charges me very aggressively. Pretty funny as Ive never seen a snapping turtle act so aggressive. I took that as a hint to leave them alone so that's exactly what I did.

    I'd be aggressive too.
