Silver bp morph?
Hello! I'm new to ball pythons and this site and I was wondering what morphs of ball pythons are silver in color? Some thing like this

the first thing that comes to mind is a Silver Bullet (Pastel Super Cinny) but here's a pix of a Super Pewter (Super Pastel Super Cinny):

The Axanthic genes take away red and yellow pigments and turns BPs into silver/grayscale versions of their morphs. Definitely worth checking out. Keep in mind that not all Axanthic lines are compatible, though!

here's a Champagne Axanthic:
^ a fellow forumer has one of those.
look up Brandon Osborne's Urban Camo line for silver, grey and dark snakes that will blow your mind.

Don't these all brown out as adults? I was very excited by axanthic when I first saw it... but the adults look kind of cruddy.

just like how Pastels brown, some do and some don't. i've noticed that the VPI Axanthic line browns alot less.

So do you think a vanilla pewter, black pewter ghost, or pewter hypo would be better and more simmilar? In other words- are pewters the way to go?

i think it depends on what u wanna do. do u just want a silver BP as a pet? if so, just buy one. or do u wanna breed? Axanthics will always be gray/silver (tho some will brown a little) and Cinny with Pastels together in the right combo will be silver/gray. u need to find out which combos u like best. also keep in mind that Axanthics are a recessive gene so u will always need a pair (visual, het or a combination of both) to make a visual silver/gray.

will those silver pewters or those Super GHI/Pastel/Butter stay that color as they age into adults?

There are a few but don't be full hatchling like you posted will not stay that nice silver but will turn muddy and ugly.
You want something that stays silver your best bet is a true ghost.
