And do they limit your generation of bengal? In Texas we can't have serval without proper licenses. And you can only have "domesticated" Savannah even though the law states no hybrids of serval. So ours is an f6 SBT to comply fully.

There are no restrictions on what generation you can have in Ohio just that you cant have the pure form of serval or asain leopard cats. so as long as you have the documentation to back it up you could own an f1 generation (of either species) that is high % wild type cat. I love the classic marble pattern on your boy there

*edit* check out the insane dangerous wild animal list for Ohio. sb310 http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/935

Yeah, we have some crazy specific and dangerously vague laws for us as well. Ohio has it pretty bad though since the incident with the guy who committed suicide by exotics a few years back now. But yes, keep in mind that with Tica if your pedigree on a bengal traces back to greater than either 50 or 75% its registered as an F1 Asian Leopard Cat instead of an f1 bengal. Now, you can call it a bengal, but . . . just a sticky technicality!

Anyways, thought I'd share this with you guys too. My wife and I got to hang out with an orphaned margay in Honduras a little over a month ago (almost 2 months now). It was a surreal experience to say the least!
