Ontario Residents...Where do you order stuff online from?

Just curious where you guys order stuff from?

I have lots of time, but I might like to set up for an online source for...

    - Heat Bulbs

    - Thermometer/Hydrometer gauges

    - Cypress Mulch

    - Moss

    - Frozen Thawed Small Rats

I also have a Gecko that will eventually need stuff too.

As I said, I have supplies for 2-3 months at least. But I would stock up if the price was much better online.

Or...does the shipping cost make it better to just hit up big als?

I wasn't going to respond to this but since no one else has I guess I will. I personally purchase pretty much everything at the local 'mom and pop' reptile store. I think it's important to support them because they help bring new people into the hobby, they're also the closest place I can reliably get the selection & amount of food I need.

My local guy is a bit of a douche and always goes on tirades about how expos and rescues have ruined the industry.

He also swears that if you feed in the enclosure, you're doing it wrong.

I just don't respect anything that comes out of his mouth, so I can't vote with my dollars there.

Guess I'll just hit up big al's

Honestly shipping is so ridiculous I'd almost always rather go to the store or stock up at expos. I breed my own rats so I don't know where to order, but there's better deals at expos on feeders (that's not saying much though, after breeding and selling my own I find any feeders overpriced lol.)

Heat bulbs, substate and all the other stuff I'd look for at expos as well. Sorry I'm not much help, I hate ordering herp stuff online lol. I ordered from Port Credit Pets back when they had a store and only paid $10 delivery (I was 2 hours away), but I'm not sure if that's changed.

The $9 bag of cypress mulch we saw at the expo cost me $12.99 at the pet store.

The Bulbs were maybe $2.50 cheaper at the expo than in the store.

So I guess I'll just keep using the local pet stores.

Yeah it's not huge savings but if you're already going to the expo you might as well get it for a few bucks less without tax right but otherwise you can save the gas money and get it from the store

If you start to get more animals the savings will be better lol I use reptibark in my carpet pythons enclosure and a large bag ($40) last me 2, maybe 3 if I'm lucky, full cleanings. I can get it for at least $10 off at the CRBE so I pick up 2 or 3 so they will last me awhile.
