back into mouse breeding... ? about something.

Well, I have decided to get back into mouse breeding. There are a few reasons; I have one small BP who's still eating mice; my friend sells tons of micec at her store and always needs more.
Here is my question. Do ya think that females from a large litter, are more likely to produce a large litter too? My friend has a female who produces MEGA litters; the current litter she has, numbers somewhere around 16! This is a much better result than my old litters that barely reached 9.
I have two of this mouse's grown daughters, and a male from another source. Do you think that the girls will inherit their mama's big-litter creating skills?
They are the white "lab mice" if you're wondering.

Yes.. I believe that large litters are an inherited trait. Also, the white lab mice are generally more prolific than 'fancy' mice.

i second that to a degree....its all probability i mean its not a set way to tell but i beleive that it is a good guess that if mama has muchas babies than daughter will have muchas babies (thats spanish....we speak it alot on the west coast...lol)
