Quebec bylaws.
Hey all.
I was just wondering if there are any people from Quebec on the forum, and if there is, can you let me know, to the extent of your knowledge, if it's okay to own BP's in Montreal? I have my one lonely little pinstripe and an excellent job offer for Montreal and I don't want to leave him behind.
Thanks!

There's basically no provincial laws in Quebec about reptiles. Venimous are prohibited. But you can have a 20 feet python without a permit. However some cities have specific laws. I have to say that they ARE NOT enforced. Even the dog law (no more than two in an appartment) isn't even if 3-4 dogs chilling outside is pretty obvious.
Montreal is a big city and is splitted into separate districts. Some of them have specific animal laws. But Montreal as a whole doesn't have specific laws.
Verdun (west) and Anjou (north east): no pythons or boas. St Laurent (north west): no snake over 3 meters.
If you don't want to take any chance you can live in Plateau Mont Royal (center), Rosemont (center), Hochelaga (south east), Mercier (middle east)... there's many more.
