    MVB for aquatic turtles

    Hey,

Just wanted to quickly see if anyone uses mercury vapor bulbs for heat/uvb in their aquatic turtle setups. If not, what is the best hood/lamp setup to use for uvb and heat?

I know this section doesn't get a lot of love, but just wanted to see if anyone had some aquatic setups going.

I'd personally use a high quality MVB on more frequent baskers like Trachemys, Pseudemys, Graptemys and a high quality tube UVB for stuff like Sternotherus, Kinosternon. What are you looking to set up?
