    Bellamy: Coral Glow Progression Thread

I recently was able to purchase a new ball python and as luck would have it, my local reptile specialty store had a coral glow! Coral glows/bananas have been my favorite morph for as long as I can remember, even before I was into ball pythons.

Figuring that I haven't seen many, if any, progression threads for coral glows/bananas, I thought I'd start one.

So this is Bellamy, my new baby boy. His breeder (who actually owns the store I got him from) told me that he was about three months old- he couldn't give me an exact date though. He's already gone ahead and eaten for us and he's a nice beefy baby.

The day we got him home - The sun really distorts his colors in these pictures.

Aand here he is today (2/8/15).

We'll be doing a full blown tank clean for him tomorrow, so I'll probably add some more pictures then.

Not only is Bellamy in shed, but, mites have popped up on him. :/ Ah well, time to get some mite stuff.

I just went and looked at it, Mr. Bojangles is such a pretty baby! Good luck with your coral glow pieds.

And thanks to all of you for the awesome compliments! He's a little skittish right now which is completely understandable. I'm looking forward to getting this mite problem solved for him so he's more comfortable.

Bell shed nicely, although in pieces. He does have a few stuck scales in places, but I'm not majorally concerned at this point. I would've updated the thread a few days ago when his shed was completed, but alas, I was not home and my mom was watching the snakes.

Our mite treatments are working nicely, haven't seen any mites since after the first, although we'll continue to treat.

Re: Bellamy: Coral Glow Progression Thread

Awhile back, I saw a photoshoot involving a mirror with the snakes, and I loved it. So, I wanted to try it. My results aren't nearly as good as the OP's pictures, so if you can find that post, I recommend going and seeing some awesome snakes. I believe the title was photoshooting her boyfriend's snakes?

Handsome boy. He's been refusing meals bi-weekly so he's not as fat as my other boy.
