    Red face New Noodle!

This is my "new" lucy ball python. I got him a month ago, and he is doing wonderful now. We got him at our local petco, and our Petco is pretty good with caring for their reptiles. But this little guy was having a terrible shed issue along with a 3 month battle with mites.
    Here's him day one:

Hes shed again since we had him, and he always gets shed on his head stuck. It looked like it had been there a long time in the first photo.
But i even soaked him beforehand after his pre shed poop and upped the humidity ans still had an issue. But i soaked him again and I was able to remove his "mask"
And now here's photos of him all better! Who doesn't love a little Lucy Snoot??

Nice looking little guy, but if you got a snake with mites that's NOT a good indication of a place that is 'pretty good with caring for their reptiles'

well I should say as good as Petco can get. I've noticed all their reptiles get the proper husbandry which is always nice. Though their animals are most likely farm bred so I'm sure lots of issues come with them.

Your PETCO is clearly superior to the one near me.

Beautiful snake! But Petco wont fix a mite problem, everyone of them I have been to and seen had incorrect husbandry and more often than not had emaciated snakes. If they wont eat the FT that are provided then the snake will just be starved to death. Like MarkS said, not a good indication of proper husbandry at all.
