    Chocolate?

A friend recently acquired a ball python they were told was a chocolate. This is (yet another) morph I'm unfamiliar with so I can't verify it for them.

My initial reaction was that it's a normal but there is a good amount of flecking along the sides so there may be something there I'm to novice to know about. The snake is also in shed right now.

    Thoughts appreciated!

Personally, I don't know, but I did dig up this post...

I haven't had my coffee yet, so I didn't read through the whole thing, but that should help you!

The pattern doesn't look very chocolate to me.

I didn't think so either, but am completely unfamiliar with the morph. Any idea what it could be? Like I said, my initial thought was it's a normal, but the speckles along the side make me hesitant about that.

Normals will sometimes have speckling . That gets my vote.

If you could get pictures in a more natural light, it'd be easier to tell.

Definitely next time I go over. It was already dark when I went last night.
