    Newbie in the UK

    Hi All!

    I'm in Hampshire, England.

I've adopted this tiny little female normal from a friend who is an experienced herp keeper and a regular foster carer for rescued snakes and lizards, but I'm a complete newbie. I've warned my friend to expect loads of questions.

The snake is a rescue called "Akita" and she is about two years old but very small/stunted (203 grams) and she has some black scars (well-healed burns?) on her back. My friend had her eating f/t without issue so I'm hoping she'll catch-up and grow! I brought her home Friday (in her existing viv she's already used to) and I'm hoping to feed her on Tuesday. Fingers crossed!

I look forward to being part of the community as much as I can!
