Re: Banana/CG combos as adult breeders

Not great shots of Orion, my banana pinstripe, but you get a good idea of color. He's a 2015 hatchling. Almost no freckles, overall very clean pattern. I'd actually like to get one of the bananas that has a fair amount of freckles, I think they're lovely.

I am still on the fence about them, some look great as adults, and others not so much, Not sure if its just luck of the draw or if they are some genes that help make them look better as adults or if its a case of good looking adults produce babies that turn into good looking adults Most genes change a bit as they age, but banana seems to have a really drastic change. While stunning as babies, im still not ready to buy into them

Re: Banana/CG combos as adult breeders

Mine is not quite adult, but definitely big enough to breed as a male.

    Banana male, Vega
4 month old, ~130g (not the best lights)

16 months old, ~950g (really bad lighting.. removes most of his darker purples and contrast, but my next best picture is older.)

Better shot of his colors here, though this was a probably about 3 months ago.

One year old (sorry I don't have a baby pic of him-- just got him). I LOVE the spots! It is a really cool morph that keeps morphing with age! I was told he was a banana pastel.

Re: Banana/CG combos as adult breeders

This is my cg het pied. I'd say he's around 1000g. I don't have any pictures of him when he was smaller. I did but had a hard drive fail and lost all my old pics. I have some cg combos but most of them are under a year old. My cg kingspin is an adult. Ill try to get some updated pics of him. But again I don't think I have any of him as a baby. If you'd like to see some of the babies I can post them
