Well, I purchased a juvenile Sinaloan Milksnake at the IRBA show this past Saturday and I have some questions about this kind of snakes temperment. I have seen that it is rather whippy and high strung and it WILL musk and BITE... (See my posting in the off topic chat ) this is a very beautiful snake but I am wondering if this is going to predominatly be a display snake as she is not very handleable. Is there any possibility of her settling down as she matures or will she always be rather high strung and a potential biter? I would appreciate any input on this from all you guys and gals out there.....

Questions about Milksnake temperment and behavior

They can certainly be tamed. Be patient.. and persistant! Short, daily handling sessions are good. She/he will learn to trust you in time.

I held a baby sinaloan the other day, and it was actually quite mellow.. the pueblan milk, however, was bezerk! No musking or biting though..
