    Smooth Scales Snakes

I'm horrible at taking pictures. Even with a good camera, I'm just about as bad as you can get. (To give you some idea, 9/273 actually look decent. Literally.) That being said, I've finally managed to gump my way into a few shots that I've deemed worthy of sharing.

    I'll start with the girls.

0.1 Black Pastel. Some of you may recognize Blackout.

Next, we have 0.1 Super Lesser, known as Mon Cheri

Next, 1.0 Mojave Sable aka Bubbles

And finally (for now), 1.0 Spinner Blast known as Fred the Magnifithent. (Yes, with the lisp. He is a spider, after all.)

I realize I don't have nearly enough pictures of Fred. He's pretty excitable and doesn't sit still often enough to get some decently in focus pictures.

Not that my photography skills do any of these snakes justice - in fact, a couple of these were taken with a cellphone - and I have 0 editing skills. Okay, I have 1 editing skill: I can crop! And that's it. I just thought I'd share since I finally got a few decent enough pictures to post. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful specimens!! I'm a huge fan of the spinner blast and super lesser, my fiance loves snakes but is creeped out by pure white or skin colored snakes and won't let me get one I'm dying for an ark angel but my fiance calls them worms. I think. They are amazing

Thanks so much! Give it time, your fiance may come around. I really think the super lesser looks beautiful as adults and can't wait for this little girl to grow! She's just full of possibilities.

Thanks! The BEL is the easiest to take pictures of - maybe because of her smaller size making her easier to move around and pose. I was surprised when she periscoped as high as she did and long enough for even me to get a good shot! I get excited every time I think what she'll look like at 2000g.

Yes that is the same Blackout. She's grown quite a bit since I got her from redshephard - I sent her a pic when Blackout reached 700g. Now she's at 850 and eating a small rat once a week like a champ. I have to get her a bigger hide because right now the one she uses sits on her when she goes under It - you can see under the edge because it lifts up a half inch or so. I don't have nearly the photography skills of redshephard though so my photos don't look nearly as nice.

I saw your username and instantly clicked in hoping for some Blackout photos, and wasn't disappointed!! She's growing fast. Everyone's gorgeous.
