    Just thought I'd share:

    Here's the setup, I did decide to keep her on sand after a few days making sure that she wasn't ingesting any of it when she grabs crickets. Its Vita-sand. My only complaint with it is that her feet now are the color of the sand. But its ok she doesn't seem to mind:


    Um, where'd my cave go?


    She chose a corner to poop in when she was on paper towels. When there were no paper and towels and just sand, she would kinda poop randomly in that area. I put a corner of a paper towel in the corner, and now she will ONLY poop on the paper towel. Does this mean she's litter trained? Haha, works for me, less cleaning!

    The corner training is really nice. I wish cresties would do that!

    Wow, an old thread resurrected...I have since switched to carpet, which is much better. That calci-sand turned my gecko the the color the sand, and made her look very dusty and dull.

    Reptile carpet rules over sand for leos.

    Repti carpet is better .......i agree with that ..... i'm gonna try corner training ...... never even thought of that
