Re: Is live feeding really that bad?

I really thought this thread was dead about a weak ago so I never checked it. But I'm still feeding live and it's going good.

The second feeding the mouse attempted to bit my snake but I got in there with my finger and grabbed it by the snout (Medusa's head wasn't near the mouse's face, she has bitten the body). Then I kept the face away with tongs. She really likes live mice, though. She'll take frozen, but it gets irritating and out of whack, especially when she seems very interested but doesn't strike. I think that was my call that she doesn't like frozen that much.

I just fed her another one today. I kept two mice in a container and they had their thrill of sleeping on each other but Frank was the one I caught by the tail. It all went well but now all she's going is swarming around her tank, looking for more food, I presume. She's finally curled up in a decoration. She was patrolling around in her tank for a good half hour after she ate. It was pretty strange of her. I still see her nose poking out, though.

This thread is harder to kill the Michael Myers. (It seems to be trying to make it to Halloween so I felt like some horror movie references would be appropriate )
