I am thinking about getting a couple (2-3 females and 1 male) leos. I want to make sure that i am getting everything i need in order to keep them properly. From the care sheet i need:

A tank: i have a 10 gallon and a 20 gallon tank lying around, which one would be the best to use?
2 hides(1 being the humid hide), water bowl, calcium bowl, UTH, 40 watt bulb, 40 watt infared night bulb, and using papertowl as substract.

Am i missing anything? Also what is the best substract to use in the humid hide? Also I am looking for some colorfull leos but not looking to spend alot of money on them. What sugestions do you all have and were can i get them from? I have only seen normal leos at petco and i want something more colorful. Also how do i tell the males from females? Sorry for all the questions but i want to get it right the first time as i have never kept lizards before. Thanks

Getting everything ready for new leos. Have questions.

Also i will have no problem getting the crickets and calcium supliments. Also do i need to get both the reptical(calcium and vitamin D) and Nekton-Rep (vitamin)? Or do i just need to get the reptical?

You're going to want the reptical and the nekotn-rep. You might want to make sure that your vitamin supplement does not have d3 as well though, since too much d3 is can be harmful.

I would go for the 20 gal (I assume it's a 20 gal long) so they have more room. I don't know if that's enough room for that many leo's though.

I can't help you on the rest of that, somebody who has more exp with leo's can probably answer those for you.

You need calcium with out D3 to go in the tank, and calcium with D# to dust food with. You need vitamin suplements once a week.

a 20 gallon can hold no more than a trio of leos, I would go with a 30 gallon long if you want to have any more than that..

also i thought that a 20 long was the same as a 30 gallon just shorter. nevermind i just found out that a 30 gallon breeder is 6in longer and wider.
