    Is regular crafting clay safe

I read OhBalls post on DIY hides using flour and salt, but I have a few pounds of modeling clay left around the house (Its the kind that you can make pottery as well as figurines out of), and I was wondering if anyone knows if it is safe for snakes? Once it's baked and waterproofed, it's supposed to be safe enough to eat off of. Also, if anyone has a brand of sealant that would also be non-toxic that would be great!

Re: Is regular crafting clay safe

Not too sure about modeling clay but a good sealant I used on some salt clay for my beardie was non-toxic modge podge. Haven't crafted anything for my snakes yet.
