i was out of town for 2 weeks and had a friend of mine feed and take care of all the critters for me. i generally feed the cresties crickets every other day, and then have baby food available at all times. three days before i came back though the cricket supply was depleted, and i told my friend not to worry, just to make sure they had their baby food with supplements mixed in. when i got back i noticed some runny poo in their enclosure. could this be caused by them only eating baby food for a few days? otherwise they seem fine.

Yep, sure could. I wouldn't sweat it, just keep an eye out for continuation of symptoms or behavioral changes, but they should be fine. Keep 'em off the prunes for a week or two.

Just agreeing that the runny droppings were caused by the only babyfood diet. Too much fruit in their system. It should go back to normal once you get them back on their normal diet.
