Just bought these two, female bumble bee and male lesser cinnamon

Wondering what their technical name is? I was trying to do research on them and found there's multiple varieties of them.... They are both two years old. The male is a rescue from a pet store and the female is from a friend. Letting them settle in before I work on socializing

Maybe it's just the lighting of the photo (or just me), but the first snake looks like a spider, not a bumblebee. Are you wanting the technical name for their species, or their morphs?

I can take a better picture of her in a bit. She doesn't look like a bumble bee to me from the pictures I've seen...

Both? What's the difference? Sorry, I'm trying to learn! It's very confusing to me. Do the different patterns have different names?

Yes, each different color/pattern is a gene or "morph". For example, cinnamon is one morph and enchi is another. Cinnamon enchi means that the snake has both genes or "morphs". Hopefully someone else will reply and explain this better than I am!
The technical name for a ball, or royal Python is P. Regius. I don't know of any technical names for morphs.

P. Regius is the species of snake, and bumblebee is the color and pattern the snake has.
Bumblebee, cinnamon, pastel, and all of the other morphs are the same species.
