As,some of you know,I am getting a redtailboa in 6 days.Yay for me...
I have a cage ready for a baby,but I am saving up for a big cage to put him in for his life.I was thinking this... http://www.boaphileplastics.com/6421h.html
Would it work?Its 72x24x11 I beleive.I get $40 a month starting february and so does my brother,whos gonna help me.its going to take me 4 1/2 months or 5.would the boa live in a 20 gallon for 5 months?

needs to be a little taller in my opinion. generally for a male the minimum cage requirements are 48x24x24

I'm might get a male,but are you sure thats the minumum requirements for males?Thats only 4 ft. long...and they can get to 6 or7 feet(male).

yepp...from caresheets it is...but if you ask me, if your able to get him/her out everyday to stretch and exercise, you should be fine with that

aside from the caresheets if you are going to get a cage from boaphile just ask jeff what he recommends. he has alot of expierence with boas and would help you out. you are probably going to have to phone him i don't think he answers emails fast.

How about the ball room rack?The one that says:For Adult Ball Pythons and Boids up to 6 ft.
How long could I keep a boa in one of those if i feed it regularly and give it right sized food?

I am figuring on building custom enclosures for both my Boa and Carpet when they are adults consdering they will be 8" and 9" long.
