    Wish I could have taken a few galapagos torts home with me.. Maybe next year.

    they were rather pricey. also, one would need a huge yard (eventually).

    Yeah about $4k outside mine too! LOL

    Though I could see going up to as much as a thousand for a really stunning Bamboo. I was talking to a breeder a few weekends back at the Charlotte, NC show who got into Bamboos last year and he paired his bamboo male to a few normal females and ended up producing 6 bamboos in all so he easily made his money back and then some.

    i paid more than a grand each for my bamboos. i do hope to make my money back after a clutch or two.
