    Hello, I got a young snake last week and was wondering if it was a normal or if there was more going on?

    Normal or Granite.
    Many can have a granite look but that does not mean its genetic.

    Not sure...

    but it is a nice snake. Has Granite characteristics, but they have to be proven out. Nice coloring, all in all a good looking snake.
