Hi everyone,

I'm a graduate student studying the evolution of sex chromosomes in various groups of animals. I'm looking to compile a dataset on family sex ratios in pythons (and also possibly colubrids and vipers, if anyone feels like getting really crazy). The data I'm looking for are very minimal--per family: number of eggs laid (including ones that don't hatch), number of females, number of males (year and incubation temperature and anything else you took note of would be awesome, but I'll take anything).

The goal here is to get this data from a number of different people so that I have a large enough sample size to make some inferences. I realize that most of you may only have this information from a few families, so the idea is that putting it all together will sample the entire distribution of a population's sex ratio.

If you don't want to post this information publicly, please feel free to send me a private message. Since it's all going to be aggregated, it will also be anonymous.

Thanks in advance for your help!
