This is one of the animals rescued from the Long Island Reptile Museum:

Sorry for the horrible lighting. She is a moderately healthy 5 foot malaysian water monitor. She is getting treatment for general parasite infections (internally and externally). But she is one of the healthier animals

where is the Long Island Reptile Museum?
i live on LI and i never heard of it

Hicksville, but thankfully it is no longer.
If you are in long island please check out the International Fauna society. I want to say there website is Fauna.com
A quick google search should lead you right to it.
