How many of you enjoy having multiple snakes vs having just one?

I don't understand the question... Do some people really get one snake and then stop?

Re: Multiple snakes
Yeah it seems like really not much more work to have a few more. The only thing is giving them time out so they stay tame.

Re: Multiple snakes
It's kind of hard to stop at just one... haha. I love having more than one snake, I take them all out every so often and all my snakes have never bitten me out of aggression. They're my babies.

I got my first ball in November and now have three, a male lesser, male vpi axanthic, and a female vpi satin black pastel.
They really are the dopest little fellas, it's only a matter of time before I get myself a rack

I like having multiple. There are so many morphs out there that simply look cool that it is hard to have just one. You get into that mode, "well I bough a lesser but I really like and would rather want to have that calico, but I love my lesser. I couldn't trade him, so I will have both." And it goes on and on and on.
I am one of those people who do believe that all snakes have different personalities. As your collection grows, your time to hold them for long periods of times dwindles. Then there is the cost factor. Having 10 snakes is still cheaper then having 10 dogs but at the end of the day, it is still expensive and easier to "groom". Have you tried bathing and brushing 10 dogs in one day? I would rather stick to the "self skin cleaning animals". But back to the expense part of it, one snake ($20 a month) verses 10 snakes ($200 a month). Its a big bill when you put in housing, food, bedding and even vet bills together. You also lose interest on wanting to decorate their enclosure for a more appealing look in your home. Now you have to find a secluded space where hideous snake racks don't clutter your living room where your friends or family come to visit. But to most of us, that isn't an issue so we chose have the hideous racks so we can enjoy the amazing process of watching 10s or 100s of snakes grow, breed, hatch. You name it.

Re: Multiple snakes
If I had ten snakes I would be buying my food and bedding in bulk. I can't see it costing more than $75 dollars a month to feed and clean cages.

I have 8 and don't spend anywhere close to that much a month. If you buy right that could pay for several months of food.
Some of my cages have loose substrates while some are paper. I use free newspaper so that doesn't cost anything.
My dog cost me way more on food a year.
