:shock: Well, it finally happened. That crazy Garter Snake of mine managed to get away from me while I was changing his water dish last night. He has always been a wild and crazy snake...totally unhandleable and very fast and whippy...I just kept him as a sort of small display snake and I liked to watch how observant and high strung he was. But trying to do cage maintenance was a nightmare. He would squirm and musk and defecate and do what ever he could. Well, I had the top of the enclosure open maybe a couple of inches trying to change his water and POW!!! :shock: :x he was out and took off like a NASCAR....I just managed to grab him by the tail but he wriggled out away from me as I did not want to injure him....that was the last I saw of him.He's gotta be in my room SOMEWHERE :roll: either that or he is halfway to China.
It always irritates me how escaped animals somehow manage to vanish - I dont even bother looking anymore because I know that they will re-appear when they get good and ready - it could be a day or it might be six months. Or never. Sheesh.
