I have the rats defrosting, and I plan to record my younger yellow in time lapse, and as soon as I get it on YouTube I'll post the link!!

Re: Time lapse feeding
Was my first time lapse so it's really shakey, I'd recommend just setting the phone down and not holding it

That's one way to track growth!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Btw, I lied, neither one cooperated.....both became interested in the camera more than their meal lol.

That was really cool to watch! Definitely tone down the shakiness next time like you said, but it was still awesome.
Crazy how you could see the neck muscles working so much. I've watched my snakes eat before, and in real time it looks like WAY less work.

Yeah it's cool, can't wait to get a better vid! That was also pretty large prey compared to the snake, it's never takin him that long to eat. He's pretty efficient

Ahh, maybe that explains why he threw coils on it halfway through... Struggling a bit haha.
My corn (which has a better feeding response than my boas) took down a rat once that I wasn't sure she could fit. (it was a refusal from one of my big BP's - I'm not in the habit of offering oversized prey). It was quite impressive to watch!! Couldn't believe how wide that little mouth can stretch.
