I just want to make sure since this is my first breeding attempt that I do things right!

Starting after this week's meal I am going to reduce their night temperatures and light (7PM to 7AM) and stop feeding. After a month of this I am going to start putting them together for 2 days per week. I will continue this until mid february when I will bring the heating/lighting/feeding back to normal. There is so much info out there and it is all different. Should I feed them after the month of cooling? Should the cooling continue for the entire mating period or just for the month? Thanks in advance!

Cool them from now until march. 75-78 at night with a 82-85 degree hot spot, normal temps during the day. As long as they have a hot spot at night and normal temps during the day, you can offer them food the whole time, but they may not eat. If you're not going to use a hot spot at night, do not try and feed them.

If it's just a pair, keep them together most of the week. 4-5 days. Then give the male a couple of days to rest and offer him food.

    Hope this helps.

Should I put them together right away or wait a month and cool them with no food and then resume feeding and the hot spot?

I never stop feeding or a hot spot, I just lower temps. I also start pairing them up about a week after cooling starts giving every animals a 2 day rest each week to relax and feed.
