    Montie Pyton - Rosston, Tx.

    Hello Everyone,
First off I want to thank this site and everyone with all the great advice it has. Reading a book on Balls helped, but this site has much more. I have had a few snakes in the past but nothing bigger than a rat snake. I wished I had learned of Ball Pythons alot sooner. I got Montie, a 1 year old Spider 3 days ago and he is lovin his new home. I was going to buy a Lesser or Pastel but after the Reptarium told me about the Spider, the way they move and act I went with it and am happy I did. I'm new to this forum stuff although I've been on Macs since the early early days. I'll see if I can post a couple of pics and a vid of Montie and his new home. Again, thanks to all for the great advice.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on Montie.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

    Changing Names

After much deliberation & careful thought, I am changing Montie's name to Beaudreaux, a nickname that I have. I see Montie or versions thereof all over the place. I think Beaudreaux will forgive me in the long run.

Great name, do you have any shortened version of it?
