    Darkness and feeding

My adult male bp has been off food for a month. Temps, humidity, hide, everything is ideal. But, his enclosure is an opaque tote. Could the lack of day/night be throwing off his food schedule?

Hmm, if anything I would think having a nice, dark enclosure would enhance feeding response. Has anything else changed in his enviornment? How big/old is he?

Ball pythons go off food sometimes. As long as they are not losing a large amount of weight he should be fine. He will eat when he wants to.

He is a 2013 I believe. I know he was set up to breed before I got him. Could that have anything to do with it?

He doesn't seem to really have lost any weight. My scale got wrecked, but he still is nice and thick.

If he is not losing a lot of weight and still behaving normally I wouldn't worry too much. I've had some ball pythons go off food for over 8 months. At his age and size he might be restless due to wanting to breed, although it nearing the end of the breeding season. I would just keep offering food every 7-10 days, minimal to no handling, and he will eat when he is ready.

my spider male ball (around 2 to 3 years old), the last time he ate was in october 2014. I have been offer food here and there, he still hasn't take it yet.
i have wasted so much money by buying rats, he will not eat frozen one.

Wow! My guy will do frozen, I have just tried some live pups, only to see it wasn't making a difference of live vs dead. Luckily I have some other critters that can devour them.
