Not sure if I should feed my girl. Re: shedding?

About 4 days ago I noticed my young female was very dull and in blue. She hasn't shed yet and I'm not sure if I should be concerned... This is the first shed I've ever gone through. Does it normally take this long?

Anyway. Tonight is feeding night. Should I skip feeding her this week?

Yep, can take a while for them to slough their old skin, nothing to worry about.

I normally skip feeding so they can go through the shed as stress free as possible. Just my opinion.

Mine can take... a week and a half, two weeks, to shed. Once her eyes go blue its like 3 days til they go back then three days later she sheds. Just make sure your humidity is on point maybe provide a humid hide if needed and you'll both be k. You can try to feed, some will, some won't. If you're a FT feeder might as well make sure she is the first fed in case she doesn't want someone else will eat, or if she's the only scaly love, I'd skip personally to not potentially waste a feeder

I am a f/t feeder. I have one other snake and their bins are right next to each other. I'm planning on feeding the male in his bin and she'll see/smell it so I'm wondering if maybe I should offer her a smaller rat (she's normally on pups) or maybe even a mouse pinkie just so she has something small to get her through the shed. It's hard to imagine the tiny thing not eating for potentially 2 weeks lol. I know she can do it, but she's such a food lover.

I offered her a humid hide filled with moist moss and she would not TOUCH it. Her humidity is sitting right at 50% and I can't mist because she's on paper towels and it would just soak them. I'm wondering if I should get a tiny tupperwear thing and fill it with a little bit of moss just to raise the humidity in there for her.

If you offer her something too small, ie mouse pinkie, she may not eat it.

She really doesn't need anything to get through the shed. You can feed if you want, or you can skip. It doesn't hurt the snake either way, so do what is more convenient for you. For people with lots of snakes who will always have someone to take the leftovers, it's probably not bad to feed. For someone with just one or two who doesn't want to potentially waste a feeder, skipping the feeding is fine and will have zero negative side effects for your snake.

Ah, okay. I might skip then. I'm not working much so feeders are kinda expensive to me, lol. Wasting one would suck.

As for humidity, what kind of enclosure is she in?

She's in a tub. I've been treating for mites, so all she has in there is a sheet of paper towel for bedding, a ceramic water dish and one of those small black hide boxes. I'll try making her a humid hide again tonight but use something else instead of moss. I'll try reptibark or something.
