This is the 2nd week my female BP has turned down her food. She is only 8 months old and around 400 grams. Normally a great feeder never turned down a meal. She has been eating p/k small rats, she never took to f/t. All her temps are good, 90-93/hot 79-82/cool 50-55 humidity. She is not showing any sighns of going into shed. She is fed in a differant bin. I need some advise on what to do, getting worried. She is a great snake, freindly and healthy.....Please Help.

Even at only 8 months old they will go off feed, I thought they had to be mature. Thanks Shaun for your reply.

I also heard that the BP's are younger when that happens (going off feed)

The new girl (i think i decied her name is Rebel) i think is going to be going off feed, last time she ate was a few days ago but the guy over at the rescue said that she has been known to turn up her nose at food sometimes.Even if she does go off feed for the winter, im not going to worry about it to much. She has a nice size on her, and she seems to be very healthy.I always look at it as....."Hey, if your hungry you will eat" Just make sure the temps are good and if they already are.....then i dont know what to tell you.
