There really is no way to tell if an snake is a het or not without the paper work and seeing the parents. I have a spider het pied. Many people say het pieds will have certain marks on the ventrical scales, but this is not the fact with my spider. His dam was a spider pied and his father was a regular pied, so I know for sure that my spider is 100% het pied but there is no visually way to tell that.

Het red axanthic is a Co dominant mutation. The name is rather misleading. Spiders usually don't have patterns that make circles like that, and hra's pattern is almost nothing but circles. Hra will also add a muddy hue to the color, making the spiders gold color kinda copper looking.

To me, I would say yes that's a hra spider. If you go to "world of ball pythons" you can see almost every morph made in one place. They have an app you can download for quicker access. There is also a game on the app, "Guess the morph" that will help you learn identifying markers for the different morphs.

Someone either lied to you, or you're presenting wrong information. There would have been nothing but spider pieds and regular pieds from that clutch. There's no way a het would have come from breeding two visual pieds.

It's difficult to tell if HRA is there. It looks a little different, but I'd wait until you find one that pops as a HRA Spider.

Edit: aaaand i didnt read the end of your paragraph. As others have said, HRA is a visual co-dom, not a het recessive like the name suggests. Someone really messed up choosing a name for that morph... Also didnt see you already purchased it. Oh well.
