Well today i got my new girl.

She is a nice size (3 feet) and is very pretty.

The guy over at the rescue said she is about to shed so i bumped up her humidity.Im goin to give her a week before i try and feed her. Before i put her in her cage i took a few pictures, ill post them later on tonight when i download them.

She seems friendly but is a little head shy.But other than that everything is great.

Suposedly she hasnt had the easiest life, she came to the rescue a long time ago with severe burns to her belly from a heat rock, she is all healed up now but still has some small scars on her neck. She had been to the vet and has been checked for parasites, shes had a fecal exam done and she has no enternal or external parasites.

Now she is resting in her new home. After i put her in there she went to the water bowl and took a nice long drink, now she is just chillin out in her cool hide.Im sure the ride home was very stressfull on her.

I think most BP's are head shy. I read that somewhere, and cupid does that too.

Brandon, congrats on your new bp! Was she probed, or is the sex just a guess? I'd definitely go easy on her about being head shy because some bp's never get over that because it is such a vulnerable part. Anyhow, glad you got her and that she's parasite-free.

    Yes she was probed.

Yeah most BPs that ive handled have been a little head shy,Roxy is not, i could sit there and pet her on the head and she really couldet care less, although i dont, i know that thier heads are very senstive and you really shouldent touch it very much.

I think she just needs to get used to me.It will take time.

BTW ill have pics later today
