Crested GEcko Recipe

I found this recipe on another site and was curious what yu guys thought about it:

4 cups peaches/apricots/mangos (can be mixed to equal 4 cups.)
4 very ripe (black) bananas
3 jars pureed chicken or turkey baby food
1 jar carrots (heinz beginner baby food)
1 jar sweet potato (heinz beginner baby food)
1/4 cup solid honey (melt in microwave until liquid)
3 Tbsp liquid calcium (from shoppers drug mart, safeway ect.)
1 Tbsp liquid bird vitamins (I use HARTZ brand)


I guess the carrot and sweet potato baby food surprised me as well as bird vitamins?

I've considered feeding carrots and sweet potatoes because they are sweet and packed with nutrients, but I haven't done so because they're not part of a crestie's normal diet and I don't know how they correspond to a crestie's nutritional needs. I have heard of adding turkey for protein and have done it once or twice myself. I definitely don't see an advantage to using the liquid calcium and bird vitamins instead of the widely recommended powdered herp versions, but the rest of the recipe seems fine, overall. I don't know why they would want you to microwave the honey instead of using liquid honey to start with, though, since honey is packed full of good stuff, some of which could be impaired by the microwaving.
